Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

so i have a OMEN by HP Desktop - Intel Core i5 - 8GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 - 1TB Hard Drive - Brushed Aluminum and I was wondering if I can switch from a 1060 to a RTX 2060 . like these that i will show the links to :

Hi,

 

This dual slot graphics card is slightly over nine inches in length. So verify the card will fit in the chassis and MB.

 

The price of this card is very expensive compared to original MSRP.

 

You should download 2060 Nvidia drivers and uninstall 1060 drivers before you install the 2060. You should also disable Secure Boot (Link) in BIOS before installing the 2060.

total power consumption: 120 W

External power cable: One 2x3 (6 pin)

and there it is mentioned

Minimumsystempowersupply: 500 W

Powerconsumption (typical😞 160 W

Supplementarypowerconnectors: 1x 8-pin


see, if you have what you need as an additional connector to the power supply box

I have already seen a case of this type open, and it is not the ideal for the free space
It could pass, but may heat up a little more
