HP OMEN 25L 1660 Super, I’ve been looking to upgrade to a 3080 Founders Edition and was wondering if that was capable. Also would I need to change or upgrade anything else?

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

 

First of all, please note that the RTX 3080 cards are usually large, triple-fan cards, and you want to make sure that such a card will actually fit inside your case, specifically lengthwise. For example, the Asus TUF RTX 3080 Gaming 10GB has a length of 300 mm (11.8 inches), so you have to use a ruler to figure out if it will fit.

 

Secondly, these cards require a minimum 750-watt power supply.  If you got anything less than that, you'll have to upgrade your power supply too.
