Omen 870 224

I got a new graphics card (RTX 3060 ti) for my Omen 870 224 that requires 600 watts of power or higher. My current power supply is only 500w. I ordered a Corsair RM750 but it doesn't fit properly (the exhaust is pointed right at the graphics card) and I will need to return. Is there a power supply upgrade that will work for my unit?

@JT1007 , welcome to the Community.

Many cases allow you to install the PSU with the fan facing the bottom of the case.  Is this possible with your case?  I always install my PSU's in this manner.

Are you sure that isn't the intake fan on the psu and not an exhaust?  If it's an intake then it is ok as that air from the case and exhaust it out the rear vents of the psu.

@Ivan_Drago, there's only one fan on my PSU!

Sorry, what I meant is that the fan is an intake fan.   I have a Corsair rm 850 and it has a large intake fan and blows the air through the psu and vents out the back.

@Ivan_Drago, here is an article provided by Cooler Master explaining the difference in mounting the PSU with the fan facing Upward or Downward.  I mount my Corsair H850i with the fan facing Downward.  It has the Zero fan option.  It only runs when the temperature reaches a certain degree.

Yes, I completely understand how it works.  That's a nice article to read though and can be helpful.  I hope the original poster reads that and understands that his power supply is not exhausting onto his graphics card like he thought.
