Just got a Victus by HP 15L Gaming Desktop TG02-0366qd, and it continually runs hot, even when no programs are running.  I want to change out the fans for better ones.  Any one have suggestions on compatible ones that will keep it cool?  It runs over 110-130 for both the CPU and GPU!  I have not even played a game yet, this is just surfing the web.

Hello @sobluebetty

Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... I would like to help you.

! Attention !

With constant overheating, the thermal paste for CPU, GPU and bridges

dries out and loses its function and must therefore be renewed !

If you do not change this condition, computer/mainboard/components will suffer partial or total damage.

In your case: Service is required !
- The computer should be disassembled and checked.
- Thermal paste for CPU GPU and bridges must be renewed

High quality thermal paste should be used !

- The function of the fan(s) must be checked

- Short circuit test ( if required )

- PSU (power supply unit) test

- Components test

- General cleaning ...

If you can't do that, you should have it <serviced> by a professional computer (chip level) repair store.

Kind regards
