I have the Victus by HP 15L Gaming Desktop PC TG02-200i RCTO Base Model.  As with time, games get bigger, the more storage you need. I want to upgrade my RAM and storage. What would be some good options to put into the desktop?

@Lulu2121,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

Please verify: you got a Victus by HP 15L Gaming Desktop PC TG02-2000i fitted with the RenoR2 motherboard with SSID: 8B3B: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_7332209-7332253-16.

Make sure you got at least two matching 8GB DDR4 PC4-25600, 3200 MHz, Non-ECC, UDIMM, 280-pin RAM sticks. Or if you don't mind emptying your checking account a little, go for a matching (non-XMP) 2x16GB RAM kit, such as this Amazon purchase option: https://www.amazon.com/Crucial-3200MHz-PC4-25600-Downclockable-Compatible/dp/B08C4LXXCJ/ref=sr_1_1?c....

If you got the RenoR2 motherboard, it has one high-speed (Gen 4.0) M.2 NVMe SSD slot which you should use as your primary (boot) drive. Choose a quality 4th-gen M.2 NVMe drive (Samsung (990 or 980 PRO), Crucial (T500 or P310), or Western Digital (SN770 or SN7100).

Kind Regards,
