Hello,
I have an HP Victus by HP 15L Gaming Desktop TG02-0xxx with an HP 89D8 (Erica8) motherboard.
My current system information is:
- BIOS: AMI F.30
- BIOS date: April 8, 2026
- TPM Specification Version: 2.0
- AMD fTPM Manufacturer Version: 3.94.0.5
- Secure Boot: Enabled / Passed
I am trying to play Call of Duty: Warzone, but the Call of Duty Secure Attestation Wizard says “BIOS Firmware Update Required” and does not allow me to play.
I have already updated the BIOS to the latest version available for my PC (F.30), and I have also cleared the TPM and checked that TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot are enabled.
However, the fTPM version is still 3.94.0.5.
I have found other HP Support Community reports from users with the same Victus 15L TG02 / 89D8 (Erica8) motherboard and BIOS F.30 who are experiencing the same Call of Duty/Ricochet attestation problem.
Could you please confirm whether there is currently a BIOS update, beta BIOS, firmware update, or other official fix available for the 89D8 / Erica8 motherboard that updates the AMD fTPM firmware to a compatible version?
If there is currently no such update available, could you please confirm whether this is a known HP firmware issue and whether a fix is being developed?
Thank you for your help.
