My Victus Webcam Is not working and it tried to fix but its not showing in device manager

Welcome to the HP Forum.

 

A hardware problem is typically indicated if the device: is not present or you have zero unknown devices in Device Manager. Windows can't see the device.

 

FYI, Exceptions do exist; I just had a front USB "C" problem. No Device Manager errors and the associated USB drivers were present and functional.

 

After trying many troubleshooting techniques it was determined the MB had a data/power trace problem from the CPU to the USB C port. Windows would freak out when connecting any device to the front USB port.

 

The front USB port worked after replacing the MB.

 

I'm not saying your PC's MB needs replacing. But it looks like the Web Cam may have a hardware problem.
