HP Pavilion Gaming - TG01-1167c
Microsoft Windows 11

I have an HP Pavilion Gaming TG01-1167c. How much and what type of RAM can I upgrade to? I think I have only one open slot. Thanks!

Your HP Pavilion Gaming - TG01-1167c (9ED94AA) as per: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06696086, is fitted with a Baker motherboard (SSID: 8767) and can be upgraded at least* up to 2 x 16GB of DDR4 PC4-23400, 2933 MHz, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, DIMM (UDIMM), 288-pin RAM modules. You can use DDR4 PC4-25600, 3200 MHz RAM, but it will down throttle to 2933 MHz.

* Crucial claims 2 x 32GB max RAM: https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp-compaq/pavilion-gaming-tg01-1167c.

It is recommended to use identical RAM (same brand, model, and capacity) for best performance.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,
