Hey im about to uprade my ssd to a bigger one (1Tb) on my HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-1810no PC gaming desktop and im not sure what one fits i have been looking at The samsung 980 1Tb one wich says pcle 3 and my computer description says it has a mve and pcle, So does it fit if not if someone could tell what it need to have so it fits. Thanks!!

Hi:

 

If you want to replace the 256 GB MVMe SSD your PC comes with, to the Samsung 980 1 TB NVMe SSD, that should be fine.

 

Your PC's M.2 slot is Gen 3.0.
