The computer came with 16GB (Samsung DDR5 m323r1gb4pb0 5600 Mbps).
I want to upgrade it with 32GB more (to a total of 48GB).
I've spent hours on HP's website and still can't figure out what RAM specs fit my computer.
This is the product page: https://support.hp.com/se-sv/product/product-specs/omen-by-hp-25l-gaming-desktop-pc-gt14-2000i/model...
It says the ram on the machine is: 16 GB DDR5-4800 MHz RAM (2 x 8 GB)
---
When I check the RAM using CPU-Z, it says there are 2x16GB Samsung DDR5-5600 modules.
---
This is the product series page (to the best of my knowledge): https://support.hp.com/se-sv/document/ish_9822539-10328269-16
It says the machine can support 32 GB DDR5-5200 MHz XMP
---
This is the motherboard page: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_7561705-7561749-16
It says the motherboard can support up to 128 GB DDR5-5200
---
This is my first HP Desktop and coming from Lenovo Thinkpad where this information is easily accessible is so frustrating.
So my question is:
1. What RAM specs should I look for in a 32GB upgrade? (I've figured out DDR5, UDIMM, 1.1volt, 288 pin, is there more to think about?)
2. The computer came with 2x8GB modules and has 2 free slots. Can I put 2x16GB in the remaining slots to get a total of 48GB? Is there something I need to think about to make sure that the existing Samsung RAM doesn't conflict with the new RAM that I'll be adding?
3. Can I buy 2x32GB and upgrade it to a total of 80GB (including the existing 16GB)?

Its specs
https://www.hp.com/dk-da/products/desktops/product-details/product-specifications/2102297510
It has 16 GB DDR5-4800 MHz RAM (2 x 8 GB) now
>>>> it says there are 2x16GB Samsung DDR5-5600 modules.
But it runs at 4800MHz (downgraded)
CPU-Z tells you its current RAM model, you won't be wrong using THAT information . You can buy more RAM to add up to total of 128GB (4 DIMM).
Use for both 2 & 3
Regards.
