I was able to run my game for quite a while, left it in regular desktop mode with nothing running for an hour or so. Launched The Sims 4 and it lost the signal again, so while there was an improvement the issue still persists. Someone from Tech Support reached out through Facebook Messenger yesterday so I am still waiting on hearing back from them. I will likely reinstall the OS and see if the problem still occurs. If I may ask, what did they charge you?

I was charged $325.61 for graphics card replacement. This included the graphics card itself, labor costs, and shipping costs. I was expecting an arm and a leg, so $325 was not actually too unreasonable. I have an RTX 3070, which along retails for $270 on the lower end.

It is costly, however it’s only ~$25 on top of the cost of the card. Another reason I went with this is they will repair any software issue they may find free of charge, along with in the event there is another hardware issue, they already have my computer. The verification email says it will take approx. 3-4 business days from when they receive my pc to when I will get it back. This is variable, however depending on what they may find.

OKay, cool. I appreciate that information and may see what options I have when Tech Support gets back to me. I only have the 2060 Super so I will see what can be done. I am going to remove the card and reseat it after being sure there's no dust, etc. When I ran "Lost Ark" the temp was at 116F. It was 109F on 'The Sims 4'. I was able to play a chess game on the PC last night with no issue, but it's internet based. I was able to look at YouTube videos(about this issue)with no issue. I am going to contact NVidia back in the meantime and let them know what I've tried since I've been keeping them in the loop. I hope it works out for you!
