You have to be the most prolific multiple single issue poster this year! Not going to give up?
The only way to gain increased exhaust airflow is to add more fans, as you realize.
1) A single expansion slot exhaust fan. Requires a molex to SATA power plug adapter.
Heat does rise to the top.
2) Extreme hacking the case. Top and bottom. Adding 2-3 inch legs to the case. That also means off the carpet,
using a 12" x 24" nominal plywood board. Four of these, 2 on the bottom (inside case), and 2 top mounted external.
3) New case , like the Rosewill Blackhawk, that allows 7 fans. Adding 7 fans combination of 3 and 4 wire, new full size DVD drive, modifying rear I/O plate. Re-wiring front I/O power switch. About $250.
PS<> I took the liberty to suspend/block future replies to your other posts on this issue to prevent confusion.
