Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I have an HP Pavillion Gaming Desktop (TG01-2070,2021) which has WiFi 5 1x1, I would like to upgrade the WiFi card to take advantage of my WiFi plan. I am currently only getting between 190-325mbps, my other computer is getting upwards of 725mbps.

Just an FYI for anyone with a similar problem out there, I went to Walmart and bought a USB Wi-Fi Adapter, my bad internet which was definitely not my ISP, went from 325Mbps MAX on my Pavillion to 1.2Gbps.

@mattyice15 , welcome to the Community.

 

I am not certain that a wifi adapter upgrade will solve your problem.  Here are the specifications for your current wifi adapter.  It is capable of 1,000 mbps.  I suggest contacting your ISP to see if they can give you any solution to your problem.

This doesn't surprise me at all.  I have used USB wifi adapters for years with great success.  I didn't recommend one to you because most members like internal adapters.
