OMEN 30L Desktop GT13-1565nd
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I am considering purchasing an Omen gaming desktop but I'm wondering if upgrading the RAM on it would void the warranty.

As far as I can see it's allowed, but I'd love to have some confirmation before purchasing it. I need the additional RAM to accommodate my usage of editing software and 3D rendering software. I'm also wondering if the storage is upgradeable.

Thanks in advance for answering my questions.

Warranty is a grey/gray area very hard to say in concrete. For new generation machines, adding something or fixing something is a work for Authorized Service Provider parts . You can add yourself. If something went wrong due to this upgrade, I think HP would not honor warranty.

Hope this makes sense.

Regards.
