Greetings,
I have an Omen 880-100ne Desktop computer that uses the Tampa 2 Motherboard.
Currently I have Nevida 1070 Graphic card installed and was wondering if my motherboard (Tampa 2) would support the new RTX 2080TI Graphic card before buying it?
Would appreciate any advice.
Thank you in advance,
Kind Regards,

Greetings,
Welcome to the forum.
I am not a HP employee.
A specific 2080 Ti will probably fit in the chassis. EVGA (Link) has a product that is 10.6 inches in length. There are other 2080 Ti cards that are up to 12 inches in length.
Some of the newer Nvidia graphics cards require almost three slots inside the chassis. New fan configurations, shroud designs, and heatsink dimension changes extend the width of the card. The change in chassis dimension requirements is becoming the new challenge when upgrading graphics cards. New cards still require two slots at the backplate. But the cards sometimes exceed two motherboard slots.
The 2080 Ti requires a minimum 650 watt PSU. Your PC has a 500 watt PSU.
You have to upgrade the PSU. You have to get the right 2080 Ti that works with your motherboard (width) and your chassis (length).
