Hi @Glatticz

Sorry, I have no idea what the going hourly rate is for PC repairs.

I build, troubleshoot, and repair PCs for family and friends at no charge. i enjoy doing it.

The total cost for troubleshooting the PC would be based upon how long it takes to find the bad part. Then you also have the component replacement cost on top of the troubleshooting time.

Doing it yourself by replacing components would also not be inexpensive unless you luck out and determine it is a power supply problem. Otherwise you must continue to replace core components until you find the faulty part.

I just realises my PSU is 310 watts, maybe adding the SSD and upgrading the ram is too much for the PSU

Hi @Glatticz

SSDs use very little power. I don't think adding one SSD would cause a power problem unless the SSD has issues.

It looks like the system drive (SSD) is okay based on the previous: SFC scan and Check Disk scan results.

Adding a higher power graphics card could cause a problem. But you are using the factory graphics card.

Hi, thought I might give an update.

I think it is a PSU issue or a CPU issue after trying a variety of test using OCCT and Cinebench to put load onto my CPU.

When my CPU is under load my computer restarts or I get a BSOD, so I think it would be a PSU issue, or possibly something wrong with my CPU, but I think it would most likely be a PSU issue.

Going to try and replace it, is there a certain PSU I need to be compatible with my machine or could I get a generic one. Thanks.
