Hi @Malik67,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To improve your FPS (frames per second) while gaming on your HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop running Windows 11, here are some steps you can take.

  • Check System Requirements: Make sure your laptop meets the minimum system requirements for the games you are playing. If your laptop doesn't meet these requirements, you may experience performance issues.
  • Update Graphics Drivers: Ensure that your graphics card drivers are up to date. You can download the latest drivers from the manufacturer's website (NVIDIA, AMD, or Intel) and install them.
  • Adjust In-Game Settings: Lowering graphics settings within the games can significantly improve FPS. Try reducing settings such as resolution, texture quality, shadows, anti-aliasing, and other graphics options to see if it improves performance without sacrificing too much visual quality.
  • Close Background Applications: Close any unnecessary background applications that may be consuming system resources. This includes web browsers, music players, or any other applications running in the background.
  • Optimize Power Settings: Make sure your laptop is set to "High Performance" mode in the power settings. This will ensure that your laptop is using maximum performance settings.
  • Disable Game Bar and Game Mode: In Windows 11, Game Bar and Game Mode are features designed to enhance gaming performance, but they can sometimes cause issues. Try disabling these features to see if it improves performance.
  • Update Windows: Ensure that your Windows 11 operating system is up to date with the latest updates and patches from Microsoft. Sometimes, performance improvements are included in these updates.
  • Use Performance Monitoring Tools: Utilize performance monitoring tools like Task Manager or third-party software like MSI Afterburner to monitor CPU, GPU, and RAM usage while gaming. This can help identify any bottlenecks or issues that may be causing low FPS.
  • Check for Overheating: Ensure that your laptop is not overheating while gaming. Use a laptop cooling pad or elevate the laptop to improve airflow. Overheating can cause throttling and degrade performance.
  • Consider Hardware Upgrades: If you're still experiencing low FPS after trying the above steps, you may need to consider upgrading your hardware, such as adding more RAM or upgrading your graphics card (if possible).

By following these steps, you should be able to optimize your HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop running Windows 11 for better FPS while playing games like Roblox and Fortnite.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
