Hi Guys,
I hope you can help me out
I have an OMEN 30L Desktop GT13-0842a PC (1V7K2AA) that I did a Bios update to the latest version R27
Since then, I have had the BSOD at startup "Page Fault in Nonpaged Area"
It will not boot into windows.
I have purchased new compatible RAM but still can't boot into windows.(used different RAM slots as well to check. I think the Bios may be the problem but the only way to update the bios is through windows.
I have tried re-flashing the BIOS using the HP usb drive method but activating boot mode doesn't show the USB option to execute the upgrade.
I've tried making a UEFI usb flash drive with the contents of the Bios but that doesn't show either.
I've tried making a UEFI USB drive with a new windows 11 ISO. In this case the boot mode sees the UEFI USB drive and will open the Omen splash screen but the dreaded BSOD instantly appears again so I don't think it's software related.
How can I update the bios using UEFI USB as the HP USB flash option isn't compatible with UEFI USB.
There is also no option available to upgrade the bios within the bios itself.
The HP UEFI Diagnostic software found no RAM or hardware errors after an overnight test. (used blue screen option)
Any help would be appreciated.
Many Thanks,
Ian.
