Wired keyboard

I received some good advice earlier in regards to my search for a decent wired keyboard.  I have my Omen 17-cb003 connected to a good 17" external monitor for when I'm playing games at home.  I have been trying (without much luck) to find a full-sized, wired keyboard to use that will approximate the awesome feel of the Omen laptop keyboard.  I'm on my third one and still haven't found my ideal keyboard.  Has anyone else come across something that I might try next?  The nearly silent, smooth action of the Omen is what I'm looking for.

HP has some Omen keyboard and mouse products which are suitable for HP Omen notebooks. We can't find an "one-side-fit-all" external keyboard to work 100%

Thank you for the prompt response.  I looked into the Omen external keyboards but they all seemed to be the full-size ones with the big "mechanical" keys.  That's the only way I can think of to describe them.  People have told me to look for a "chiclet" style that is advertised as "quiet" and "smooth" but I haven't had any luck.  I am new to this so please forgive my lack of technical terminology.

Try to go directly to a store. you may be able to try directly

Otherwise, there are many very reliable brands, many different keyboards!
