Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The wireless capabilities on my desktop have taken a complete nose dive. The wifi adapter can no longer connect to my router nor keep the connection. It keeps disconnecting and when I try to connect to my router, it says

"Cannot connect to this network" and even when it does or can, it's incredibly slow.  Is this a problem with the cpu? Is there a piece on the motherboard that got disconnected or unplugged?

Can I replace the wireless adapter it comes with?

Greetings,

Welcome back to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

Your PC has a Intel Wireless network adapter and a Intel Bluetooth adapter.

There are driver updates for both devices.

Intel WIFI (Link)

Intel Bluetooth (Link)

Try both updates to see if this helps.

Let the forum know if this solves any problems.

You can replace these adapters.

Regards
