Microsoft Windows 11

Hello, I have some certain concerns and questions and need advice. I am currently debating building a whole new pc or just buying a PSU and GPU. My current specs are an i5-14400 and Quadro P620 (I used to do graphic stuff). I would like to upgrade to a GPU that can handle MSFS 2024 on High-Ultra settings on playable frame rates. My current PSU is a 310W so I doubt that can handle any though. I would need a PSU that works with all my propietary parts on my motherboard and case. Thanks for the help!

@Notsurewhat,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

Your i5-14400 is not the bottleneck here: GPU + PSU are the key, but you probably already knew that.

In order to handle MSFS 2024 on High-Ultra settings on playable frame rates, you'll need at least a smaller-sized (dual fan) RTX 4060 Ti, such as this model and a 500-watt power supply upgrade with p/n: 901759-013 / L89233-001 / L81009-800 / L77487-001 / L05757-800.

If you want to future-proof / 4K, get a smaller-sized RTX 4070 Ti such as this model (incidentally, the only air-cooled dual fan model I could locate) and upgrade your power supply to a 650-watt PSU with p/n:  L57253-003 / L36049-003.

Please be advised that RTX 50xx graphics cards may not (yet) be compatible with your HP ENVY TE01-5xxx PC.

You can purchase the aforementioned power supply upgrades via eBay.

Kind Regards,
