@corsair99 , welcome to the Community.
According to the specifications there are two M.2 sockets on the motherboard. Normally, one is for the M.2, SSD, and the other is for a M.2, WI-FI card. I suggest that you consider buying an external 2.5" USB SSD and connect it to one of your USB ports. This will allow you to keep the M.2, SSD and the 1 TB SATA HDD. You can actually boot from one of the drives if you want to add an OS.
I have two of the 2.5" SATA SSD's. I use one for storage and the other for personal finance (I boot from this drive.).
