Hello the HP community

I am contacting you because the Ricochet anti-cheat from call of duty is blocking access to certain modes in my game due to a TPM attestation issue

My PC is an HP Victus 15L 89D8 motherboard. My system is perfectly up to date.

On Windows 11, I have already installed the latest update for BIOS F.29. The TPM 2.0 and secure boot are fully activated and functional on Windows. I tried everything, the problem persists after two days.

Game analysis

TPM 2.O: OK
Attestation condition: not OK
Secure Boot: OK

The problem comes from the fact that the firmware of this HP BIOS does not provide the valid attestation certificate required by the call of duty game.

Call of duty will soon restrict my play...

Is there a solution please...

thank you in advance...

Hi @MGG78,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

The issue you’re facing with Ricochet anti‑cheat in Call of Duty is tied to how HP’s current BIOS/EC firmware handles TPM attestation certificates. Even though your Victus 15L (BIOS F.29) shows TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot as enabled, the firmware does not provide the attestation proof that Ricochet requires. That’s why the game flags “Attestation condition: not OK” and blocks certain modes.

For now, the best course of action is to wait until HP publishes the next BIOS update for your Victus 15L. Once available, install it through the official HP Support page or HP Support Assistant, that update should include the corrected TPM attestation support.

Is there anything else I can help you with?

Take care and have an amazing day ahead! 🚀

Best regards,

Hello, thank you for your response

So HP still doesn’t have any updates available to date to solve my problem?

Do you have a date for the next UPDATE of the bios that would resolve the issue with the TPM certificate for Victus 15L?

Because today I’m having a serious problem with HP, I bought the game Call of duty and I’m restricted. I’m not going to wait 6 months before investing in another brand far from HP.

thank you in any case for your response

Have a great day

Margaux
