What is the exact model of your computer?

 

Are you wanting to buy a hard drive or local it in your computer?

Since I don't know the model of your computer, I can't find the specifications and release date for it.  However, it sounds like you have a failed hard drive.  The only solution is to replace the drive with one the same size or larger.
