Product: HP ENVY PHOENIX

My sisters boyfriend gave me his old hp envy Phoenix gaming desktop for Christmas but he forgot his password to it. He told me to just factory reset it but I'm not sure what I need to do. Any help is great appreciated.

@Jenson3, welcome to the forum.

 

Here is a guide that may help you solve your problem.  You will need to know which Operating System (Win 7, 8, 10) is installed.  Then, read the entire guide to assure that you know what to do.  It would be much easier if you had the Recovery media that was made when the computer was new.
