Hi @Indrek10,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.

The front panel light error on your Victus by HP 15L Gaming Desktop TG02-0001nw and inability to change the tower light are likely related to either software or hardware issues with the RGB controller.

Here’s how to troubleshoot:

1. Check HP OMEN Gaming Hub

  • Open HP OMEN Gaming Hub and navigate to the Lighting section.
  • Ensure that the tower light settings are visible and adjustable.
  • If you can't see or adjust the settings, try the following:
    • Update the OMEN Gaming Hub software via Microsoft Store.
    • Reinstall the application if updating doesn't help:
      1. Uninstall OMEN Gaming Hub from your system.
      2. Reboot your PC.
      3. Reinstall it from the Microsoft Store.

2. Verify Lighting Hardware in BIOS

  • Restart your PC and enter the BIOS by pressing F10 during startup.
  • Look for a section related to RGB lighting or system hardware diagnostics.
  • Ensure the lighting controller is enabled.
  • Save and exit the BIOS if any changes are made.

3. Check for Driver Updates

  • Open Device Manager and look for any devices with warning symbols, especially under:
    • System Devices
    • Universal Serial Bus Controllers
  • Update drivers for any relevant devices.
  • Ensure your chipset drivers are up-to-date from the HP Support website for your specific model.

4. Inspect Connections

  • Power off your system and unplug it.
  • Open the case (refer to the manual for instructions).
  • Check the front panel light cable connection to the motherboard. Ensure it's securely connected to the correct header.

5. Reset System Lighting Settings

  • Open OMEN Gaming Hub > Settings > Reset.
  • Reset your lighting profiles to default.

6. Perform a System Recovery

  • If none of the above works and this issue appeared recently, perform a system recovery to restore factory software configurations:
  • Open HP Recovery Manager and follow the prompts for recovery.

           OR

  • Please click on this link to perform a recovery on your Laptop.  (Take a backup of the data before performing a recovery)

Please mark this post as “Accepted Solution” if the issue is resolved and if you feel this reply was helpful click “Yes”.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a great day ahead!
