Hi @tyler12334221,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP OMEN Gaming Hub is making "Eco noise" (likely referring to loud fan noise in Eco mode), try updating the OMEN Gaming Hub software, checking for BIOS/HP Command Center settings, or manually adjusting fan speeds within the Gaming Hub or BIOS

Update OMEN Gaming Hub:

  • Open Microsoft Store: Launch the Microsoft Store on your PC.
  • Search for Omen Gaming Hub: Type "OMEN Gaming Hub" in the search bar.
  • Check for updates: If an update is available, click "Update" to download and install

Check BIOS/HP Command Center:
Update BIOS F.09 Rev.A: Click Here
     HP Command Center: Click Here

Manually Adjust Fan Speed:

If a "Quiet Mode" isn't available, you can manually adjust fan settings within the Gaming Hub or through any thermal/fan control options to reduce noise.

Optimize CPU Usage:

Consider setting "Minimum processor state" to a low number (e.g., 5%) and experimenting with "Maximum Processor State" to limit CPU usage and potentially reduce fan noise.

End OMEN Gaming Hub Processes:

If the OMEN Gaming Hub is using excessive CPU resources and causing fan noise, you can try ending its processes in Task Manager to see if it improves performance.

Check for BIOS Fan Settings:

Some BIOS settings can affect fan behavior, such as an option to turn off fans completely under low temperatures.

Uninstall and Reinstall OMEN Gaming Hub:

If the issue is software-related, try uninstalling and reinstalling the OMEN Gaming Hub from the Microsoft Store.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
