Hi @YAJALPATEL,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Managing auto-stop and auto-start charging features to control your device's battery charge levels can help prolong battery lifespan. While most laptops don't come with built-in software to manage this, there are third-party tools and BIOS/UEFI settings that might help you achieve this on Windows. Here's how you can manage this feature:

Using Third-Party Software

1. Battery Limiter

Battery Limiter is a third-party software that can help you set a limit to stop charging when a certain battery percentage is reached.

Download Battery Limiter:

  • You can download Battery Limiter from its official website or other trusted software repositories.

Install and Configure:

  • Install the software and open it.
  • Set the maximum charge limit (e.g., 80%) in the software. Battery Limiter will alert you when the battery reaches this limit so you can manually unplug the charger.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
