@ersliva,

Welcome to our HP Community Forum!

According to: https://partsurfer.hp.com/partsurfer/?searchtext=328M9AAR&searchby=product, your OMEN 30L Desktop PC GT13-1000a (207P7AV) was fitted with a 500-watt HP-branded CoolerMaster power supply with p/n: M47808-003 "CPU AMD Ryzen5-5600G 6C 3.90G 65W".

I don't see why you couldn't swap the stock PSU with the 1000-watt Corsair power supply. I imagine you checked the Corsair's dimensions (LxWxH) for fit inside your case.  Your system will only take the power it needs, so you can never go wrong with a more powerful PSU.

The purpose of upgrading your power supply is probably because you want to upgrade your graphics card (AMD Radeon Navi23 8GB GDDR6 FH PCIe) as well.  That is also perfectly doable, but please be reminded that when you do that, you'll need to upgrade your overall air cooling too because a higher end GPU will also generate more heat.  Meaning, adding one or two additional case cooling fans to increase the air flow through your desktop.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,
