hello,
recreantly I started having high temperature issues more then usual I'm well aware that the NVidia rtx 3080 that I have is getting extremally hot when I play but the fans usually work on turbo so there wasn't much of an issue
but yesterday it gotten worse so much that my pc got shut down in the middle of playing that never happened before and I have this desktop for 3 years now
I'm not an expert on computers I bought this one since its been recommended to me but I'm very disappointed that the cooling is so bad.
now the fans not even spinning like before ever when I put them on turbo the temp in omen gaming hub shows 50 to 60 when idle but when I touch it its burning my hand so these numbers not making sense.
is it because of overclocking I don't how to turn it off I never messed with it before
I really don't know what to do can someone please help?!

Hi @m300
My pleasure.
I can't predict the future but heat is the enemy of PC components.
Most OEMs provide a standard one year warranty in the USA.
The graphics card will fail at some point if you don't correct the heat problem. A local PC tech might be able to isolate and fix the problem.

Hi @m300
I guess you are out of warranty.
You seem to have a 3080 thermal problem. The CPU and VRMs could also be running hot.
I would have a local PC tech look at your PC. Maybe reapply graphics card thermal paste or replace some graphics card fans. And check CPU temps.
And add some fans to the case for better airflow.

thank you for replying
what you are saying is that I should call for Computer Technician for a graphics card that I bought 3 years ago?
seems that I bought bad graphics card if it gets like this after just 3 years how disappointing!
what will happen if I keep it as is will it stop working?
can I cool it some other way?
what is the best and safest solution?
