Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

this particular pc did not come with a typical hard drive of a terabyte like you'd see in other prebuilts- rather just a 512 gb ssd. 

i don't know much about this pc and only just got into the desktop side of pc gaming thus i'm largely clueless, so i'm curious to know, is it possible to add a hard drive to this omen?

Yes you can.

Here's a diagram of where yours would go (manual page 9)...

You will need to grab a Sata data cable for it, if it did not come with one. The power supply should already have a Sata power connector to connect the power with.

Depending oh your preferences, you can add a traditional 3.5 inch HDD or a Sata SSD. The Sata SSD will need an adapter to mount to the 3.5 inch HDD bay. Example: Brackets
