so i put in 16gb of 3200 ddr4 to replace the old that came with this computer. but it is not wanting to clock up to the 3200 and just stays at the 2400mhz. am i missing the way to clock this in the bios or is it just not possible with my current board and card. thanks

@kgrah88 , welcome to the Community.
HP doesn't use Extreme Memory Profiles (XMPs) to overclock their memory. They use the standard JEDEC built into the memory from the factory. Therefore, adding memory that has a speed that isn't recognized by the motherboard won't run at the designated speed.

HP does not usually provide BIOS XMP/DOCP memory overclocking support with consumer Desktop PCs.
The factory memory will run at overclocked speeds. But aftermarket memory will run at JEDEC speeds and timings (2400 in your specific case).
