hi i have bought this pc just for gaming a while ago and decided to get some ram for it, so i decided to go with the corsair vengeance 32gigs of ram at 3200hz. i put the ram in and expected to see the 3200hz but to my surprise it showed 2133hz, so later i tried using the ryzen master app to change the speed after i did that the pc would not turn on for some reason so i disconnected the little battery in the motherboard-put it back and it turned on, after that i never tried to mess that since. is there any way i can put it to 3200MHz or a higher speed?

Welcome to our HP community forum!
Unfortunately, the Corsair Vengeance got stuck at its "SPD" or default RAM speed, and there is nothing you can do to change that. Your desktop is finnicky when it comes to RAM and achieving max RAM speed (3200 MHz), as you can see here amongst HP System Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-1xxx Users:

But not to worry, I have compiled a listing, though not comprehensive, of the best performing RAM Users have fitted in their rigs:
Samsung M378A1K43EB2-CWE 2x8GB
Hynix HMA81GU6DJR8N-XN 2x8GB
Crucial CT16G4DFRA32A.M16FR 2x16GB
Crucial BL16G32C16U4W.M16FE1 2x16GB
Kingston KHX3200C18D4/16G 2x16GB
Samsung M378A2G43AB3-CWE 2x16GB
Hynix HMAA2GU6CJR8N-XN 2x16GB
Crucial CT32G4DFD832A.M16FF 2x32GB
Hope this was helpful.
Kind Regards,

To achieve the desired 3200MHz speed for your Corsair Vengeance RAM, first, access your computer's BIOS settings and enable the XMP or DOCP profile that matches your RAM's specifications. If this doesn't work, consider updating your BIOS to ensure compatibility with higher RAM speeds. Manually adjusting RAM settings in the BIOS can also be attempted, but proceed with caution. If issues persist, reach out to Corsair's customer support or seek assistance from a knowledgeable technician for further troubleshooting.
