Hp Victus 16-e0xx

I just installed new bios and my laptop's temperatures just increases I don't know why in ideal conditions temperatures are above 80 degrees how can i rollback to the previous bios

Sorry to see this happen. 80 Degrees C or above when the PC is not under load is concerning. How high do CPU temps go when the CPU is under a heavy workload? 

 

Many HP consumer PCs don't allow BIOS rollbacks when the previous BIOS update version is executed within the operating system. You would need to provide a specific HP Product Number so the Forum can check for a previous BIOS image (if available).

 

You could try the appropriate previous BIOS update (if available) to see if it works.

 

A fail in the above instance would require doing the BIOS rollback outside of the operating system. This process is complex. So you may have to have a local PC Tech do this.

 

The PC tech would have to clear the current BIOS: .bin and .sig files in the installed operating system's EFI system partition before doing the BIOS rollback.

 

You would have to block the latest HP BIOS update from installing again or you will be back to where you started; having a BIOS update that is causing problems.
