i am currently having an issue with playing valorant. everything has been till i randomly got an error that said 'VAN9003 error" I went into bios to enable my secure boot but unfortunately nothing is working. i tried everything and cant figure out the issue. i dont know what to do. Whenever i click load hp default keys it just tells me "platform key: not enrolled" "pending action: load hp default keys in next boot" when i go into bios again it just says "platform key: none" does anyone know the fix to this?

Greetings @soso25

The default platform keys should populate when Secure Boot is enabled.

Are you disabling Legacy support?

Are you saving this BIOS change?

You could try a BIOS update. This should fix the platform key problem and enable Secure Boot by default.

Check this HP Site having the latest BIOS update for your MB.

Verify the BIOS update MB SSID matches your MB SSID. Look in: Windows system information or HP system Info to check your PC's MB SSID.

Doing the BIOS update is your decision. You're doing a BIOS update at your own risk.

Be patient when doing a BIOS update, don't interrupt this update and loss of power during a BIOS update can corrupt the BIOS. Don't do any input after the BIOS update begins until the system reboots and you see the Windows sign in screen.

I don't know why you cannot disable Legacy support and enable Secure Boot.

The following image is the latest HP BIOS Boot menu I have found.

Try the following to see what happens:

Shut down your PC. Disconnect from AC power.

Then depress and hold down the power button a few times to drain residual MB power.

Remove the side access panel. Locate the CR2032 MB battery.

Remove the MB battery. Let the PC sit for about five minutes or so.

Reinstall the MB battery or, better yet, install a new MB battery.

This should set the BIOS to the factory setup which should have Legacy support off/Secure Boot on.

Maybe your PC has this BIOS interface? Secure Boot options are in the "Security" sub-menu.

You could try resetting CMOS. Instructions in my second response.

Or update the BIOS (not recommended using a generic product number). The BIOS update link is in my first response. You should zero in on your PC's specific Product number when doing a BIOS update. GT15-0000a (4Q9S4AV) is generic product number.

A generic product number BIOS update could cause unintended problems with the PC's serial number and other HP items (feature byte or product ID).

I would first try a CMOS reset using the current BIOS to see how it goes.
