OMEN 30L Desktop - GT13-0024
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello, I have a HP Omen 30L desktop with a R7 3700x cpu inside.

I have upgraded my ram from 16gb to corsair 32 gb, and just recently I noticed that my ram is running at 2133MHz even though It is advertised at 3200MHz. I know that I simply just need to change my XMP profile to increase my ram speed to its advertised amount. I cannot do this though because I am missing the advanced tab in my bios.

My bios version is AMI F.22, 8/23/2021. There is no optional updates in windows and the bios updates from HP's website tell me I have a newer Bios than the one I am trying to install.

I heard that My pc should recognize the third party ram and give me access to this tab but it has not. This has been very frustrating as most pcs will give you this control except for mine. Any help is greatly appreciated.

UPDATE: After entering my serial number into Hp's support site I found a newer driver.

I am now on Bios version: AMI F.29, 3/5/2024

that is all the issue is still unresolved.
