HI all, Im slowly moving across to pc gaming and I have an HP envy 34 AIO which has a RTX 3050 4g Vram card, The mother board has had additional 16gb of DDR5 ram (32gb in total) and after reading up more on the cpu specs that part of the PC imo has enough grunt. I was wondering as to other featured models of the same pc are advertised with RTX 3080 16gb Vram card installed would it be possible to purchase that particular card and install it into my pc ? Obviously I'm aware that such remedial works would invalidate any current manufactures warranties (which i think have expired anyways) but was wondering if these parts are readily available and compatible with my current model , or maybe a service hp provides.

Greetings @elpesto
Welcome to the HP Forum.
An AIO PC is very similar to a Laptop PC. Many components are integrated into the MB.
Nvidia makes a 3080 mobile graphics chip which may work with your MB.
The 3050 and 3080 mobile chips are BGA components (the chips are soldered to the MB socket). This means you would need an electronics tech who does surface mount component repairs and installations.
The 3080 graphics chip has a 115 watt TDP, the 3050 has a 45 watt TDP. The chances are high the HP provided external power brick may not provide enough juice to power a 3080.
HP do not do this type of PC upgrades. I can't say if HP provides a higher powered power brick needed to do the 3080 mobile chip upgrade.
However, your PC sports Thunderbolt 4 type C at, up to 40 Gbps. So an external graphics solution might work with the AIO PC.
You would need an external power supply, a Desktop graphics card, and an external enclosure to do an external graphics card upgrade.
This would be an expensive component upgrade (mobile option or external option) if you could get it done.
I can't say this upgrade would be cost effective.
