@itsmyname@Paul_Tikkanen@BeemerBiker,

Please take a look at @ak44312's problem.

(Btw, the Shire motherboard link in the Subject heading should be HP Desktop PCs - motherboard specifications, Shire | HP® Customer Support -it's missing the last 5 digits: 18422).

It looks to me that a 1151LGA compatible CPU cooler should work/fit, there's room, just have to fabricate a support of some kind to position/secure the radiator.

Thoughts?

Kind Regards,

@ak44312,

What specific AIO are you referring to?

AIO's in general make it more challenging to fit liquid cooling.

Not to digress, but speaking of a 240mm Liquid CPU Cooler, I am considering to buy this one for one of my rigs: https://www.newegg.com/corsair-icue-h100i-rgb-pro-xt-liquid-cooling-system/p/N82E16835181190

@ak44312,

All you have is a Shire motherboard?  Do you have a PC case/chassis that fits your motherboard?

Look, just about any socket-compatible liquid CPU cooler would do -make sure it comes with the right bracket for your socket of course. The next thing you want to take into consideration are the dimensions. You should be A-OK there too, as long as you have somewhere to mount the radiator.

For example, if you are going to use a "tower" case, you'll definitely have sufficient space.

wait i re read that you saying the Radiator im thinking that will fit under the front shroud if i remove the 2 fans that came pre installed with the case but will probly have to cut a space for the block and hoses to come throw . last one aio cooler i orderd almost fit but the mounting bracket was like universal or sumepthing if i had cut it it would  have probably worked.

thoughts?
