I have an OMEN by HP 45L Gaming Desktop GT22-1090 Bundle PC
It sould have 64GB DDR5-5200 RAM (on the lable is listed 16GB 1Rx8 XMP5 - 5200 - UA0 - 1010 - XT)
if i enable XMP on the gaming hub to 5200 MT/s the system wil most of the time restart itself at the initial boot process.
it turns on switches off then turn on again and so on. when it does boot into windows the system is stable unill i power off.
when powering on the same thing happens. powering off up to 4 times before i can get into windows.
enabling XMP on the gaming hub sets the BIOS to profile 2, i have tryed to set it on profile 1 but then it gets worse blue screens ect.
the strange thing is that HP support assitant is listing the memory @ 16GB Kingston 4800MHz (hp52u40s8ma-16frae)
can anyone help me so that i can enable XMP on this PC or tell me te correct value's to set te XMP manually?
i already tryed setting it to 4800MHZ but still the same result.
leaving it on the defauld 2000MHZ works juist fine.

Hi @Montor
Welcome to the HP Forum.
HP factory memory should run at the speeds and timings as advertised. Erratic memory behavior at DDR5 JDEC speeds (4800) is not good.
Try resetting the BIOS to defaults. Remove and reseat the memory modules. Set Gaming Hub to 4800. Try XMP in the BIOS if this is an option. I have no hands on experience with the MBs used in 45L PCs.
I use retail MBs. AMD and Intel memory overclocking BIOS settings on retail MBs work if you buy QVL memory. Never had a problem doing XMP, DOCP, or EXPO using retail MBs.
I would also create a bootable MemTest86 USB flash drive available at this Site. Test the memory for faults.
You may have to Contact HP for warranty support if the memory test fails.

after spending a lot of time tweaking i didn't get it to work properly.
the thing is when setting to the profile to xmp the first boot is ok clock speed @ 5200 testing all posible benchmarks ok
restarting the pc ok - only when you do a full shutdown the problem starts.
also setting it to manual and leaving the speed @ 4000 and changing 1 value will create te same isseu.
so i know the pc can handel te speed but the BIOS of hp isn't letting me to boot proberly.
i thingk a bios update is the only thing that could fix this.

Hi @Montor
Did you run Memtest86? It sounds like a memory problem.
HP MBs. in general, are finicky with retail memory. But you are having a problem with factory memory.
You could have a MB/CPU problem. Run HP Diagnostics. Your PC may have a hardware problem.
Start the PC. Repeatedly tap The "ESC" key.
Select "F2". Run system and component tests at startup"
You can also try this BIOS update for your MB at this Link. I don't see any memory fixes in the "Fixes' section.
Remove the CR20032 MB battery for a while to reset CMOS. Run the memory at JEDEC speed (no overclock) to check stability. Disable the memory overclock in the Omen App before you reset CMOS,
Your PC may have failed the component lottery with respect to the MB, CPU or memory modules.
Contact HP per my previous link if nothing fixes the problem.
