Welcome to our HP Community forum!

 

Change the Year in Windows:

 

  1. Open Date and Time Settings:
    • Assuming you got Wi-Fi: Click the Start menu and go to Settings > Time & Language > Date & Time > hit "Sync now" (see picture)
  2. Disable Automatic Updates:
    • Toggle Set time automatically to Off if enabled.
  3. Manually Set the Date:
    • With "Set time automatically" on Off: Click Change under Set the date and time manually.
    • Update the year and click Change to save.
  4. Re-enable Automatic Updates (Optional):
    • If desired, re-enable automatic time synchronization after making changes.
