Anybody know the correct driver for the AMD Radeon HD 8400 to play COD Warzone? Its minimum is the 16.000. something. Windows only updates to 15.201 and its a Legacy driver at the AMD website. ANY other drivers seem to freeze or give the "mouse lag/stutter" issue. Im currently searching for 16's. I possibly can't play it, but I'd also like the BEST possible driver for ANY games.  Yes I know my laptop is old and I currently play many games on Steam. Just not Warzone on Battlenet. I tried the Legacy driver  21. and it stuttered and was slow. 16.3 froze on reboot.

 

Windows 10 64bit

 

15.201.1101.0---good and current

 

Tried 

21.5.2---slow and mouse lag

16.3.1---freezes on restart

I see you are experiencing issues with the HP Notebook while playing games and looking for the AMD Radeon driver.  

 

I have a few recommendations 

  • The recommended driver version for Call of Duty: Warzone is Game Ready Driver 471.96
  • Update your Notebook computer to latest BIOS from HP.COM.
  • Check for any latest drivers from HP.COM
  • Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date.

I tried to update my bios, but it failed to extract to cab, whatever that means. Im looking for a specific AMD driver, still searching.

AMD drivers must be updated on Radeon graphics cards for proper functioning and performance. Radeon cards can be updated manually, automatically, or with the AMD Radeon update tool or visit the link https://www.amd.com/en/support
