My hp pavilion gaming 15 ec0xxx have 8gb ram but only 5.88gb ram is usable  tell me how to fix it

HP released this document a while back, which explains the memory shortage...

This seems to only apply to models with AMD Ryzen 3xxx processors

Your only option if you need additional memory, would be to add another 8 GB memory chip and have 13.xx GB available.

There is nothing you can do to change the existing memory configuration.

 

If you need more memory, you will have to install another 8 GB memory chip.
