Adding HDD

So I've been using my omen now for about half a year, enjoying the experience, all good and fine.

Until I got problem with memory space. It came up with only 250GB SSD.

My question is. Can I add another drive, in my case 750GB HDD without taking out CD/DVD drive and leaving SSD as main disc.

What is your OMEN by HP Laptop 17-an0xxaa  (xx can be from 00 to 99 and aa can be from aa to zz).  Please use the following instructions to find out the model/product of your machine:

  Please do NOT post its Serial number (s/n).

Because I don't know your machine therefore I can only say in general: you can add 1TB or 2TB 2.5" SATA 3 HDD/SSD with thickness:  7 mm/7.2 mm/9.5 mm to your computer BUT you need to buy  Hard drive connector and cable part # 931564-001
