I would like to adjust the charging limit for my laptop to 80%. Although this is not possible for my laptop model through the BIOS as the advanced BIOS settings are disabled and unavailable. I find it very odd that this feature is disabled and I now am not able to manage my own system. Is there a way to enable the Advanced BIOS settings or to adjust the charging limit another way?

Hi @Mr_Anom,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Adjusting the battery charging limit is a feature that is often controlled by the laptop's BIOS or UEFI firmware.
If your HP Omen Gaming Laptop 16 -Xf0570nd doesn't have the option to adjust the charging limit in the BIOS, there are a few alternative methods you can try:
HP Command Center: Some HP laptops come with a pre-installed utility called HP Command Center, which may offer power management features, including battery charging settings. Check if you have this software installed on your laptop and explore its options.
HP Power Command: HP Power Command is another utility that might be available on your laptop. It could offer advanced power management settings, including the ability to adjust the charging limit. Look for it in your list of installed programs or check the HP website for the latest version.
Windows Power Plan: While it doesn't directly limit the charging percentage, adjusting your power plan settings in Windows might help indirectly. You can create a custom power plan and tweak settings related to when the laptop should charge. This won't limit the charging percentage but can affect when the laptop starts charging.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.-

Hello Gaya1239,
Unfortunately, the HP Command Center is not installed on my laptop and I cannot find HP Power Command among the drivers for my laptop on the HP site. However, I have installed the Omen Gaming Hub program in which I can configure a few things, but I cannot find the setting to adjust the battery charging limit. I can't find anything on the internet. Do you have any advice?
