Just wondering if anyone knows if im able to/how to access advanced BIOS settings to enable XMP for my RAM. Someone said update the BIOS. Im not sure how to do that

 

NOTE** i upgraded to a AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6 GHz Base frequency, up to 4.4 GHz. Id ont know if that matters.

Ram is Corsair Vengeance dual *GB 3200 MHZ

to update the bios you need to go to https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers and scan your product, then go to bios and download it, or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qpiGUojtr3E

 

but some hp motherboard does have its bios 'locked', but yours is a gaming so again i dont fully know.

could you take a picture of it in bios? to access bios you need to power off, after pressing the power button to turn it on you need to press f10 repeatedly until you enter bios. there could be a advanced tab there
