I bought the crucial ballistix 2x16 3200mhz cl 16 framework and after plugging it into the laptop it shows me 2667mhz. Is it possible to set the ram to 3200 MHz?.

What is your machine ?  For example

 

       HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop - 16-a0032dx

 

The above machine supports  8 GB DDR4-2933 SDRAM (2 x 4 GB). You machine may only support 2666MHz RAM. You put in 3200MHz RAM but it will automatically run at lower speed.
