Hey there.
Im playing Gta V on my notebook and i'd like to know if there is anything i could do to my notebook(Sotware or Hardware) which would allow me to play the game with the graphics turned all the way up without any lag. I have a budget of a 100 euros but i'd like to save as much of that as posible xD
Thank you so much in advance 😄

Yes I have the i7-47000MQ with the 12 GB ram. The graphics card though say GT 740M and not GTX 740M (i dont know if that makes any difference).
My drivers are all up to date, I killed all the unnecessary processes, turned off some start up programs and I keep my laptop battery disconnected, its only on the AC adapter.
Well, if I can't add any software to it I might as well go for some hardware mods.
Would you happen to know what hardware update would suit me best? Like a better graphics card or something else in that area. My budget is around a 100 euros.
Thank you so much for your time and effort 🙂

Hello @MrConfusedAlot
"is anything i could do to my notebook(Software or Hardware) which would allow me to play the game with the graphics turned all the way up without any lag?"
Giving more details on what settings you're on now and what the performance is would help.
Do your specs include an i7-4700MQ with 12 MB ram and a GTX 740M graphics card?
There is no program to download to make your PC run games faster than it can already.
Some things you can do in the mean time...
Make sure your drivers are up to date. Turn off any unnecessary processes running in the background.
Game with the AC adapter plugged in.
If you have a specific issue, please explain.

GTA 5 running: CPU=13%/3.27GHz,
Memory=7.9/11/9GB(66%)
Disk 0 (C: D:)= between 5% and 10%-thats where windows and the game is stored

You are as your name implies.
You marked yourself as the problem solver and yet have not given a solution.
Furhermore, as I stated earlier, there are no software mods to make your machine run faster.
Laptops do not have interchangable hardware like a desktop does. You cannnot simply swap out the cpu/graphics cards/motherboard for another. It comes how it was made from factory, with the exception of possibly adding more ram. But you already have 12GB. Increasing to 16 will not be worth the cost per performance increase. If you want a more poweful PC, you will have to buy one.
The settings you give tell me nothing, those are benchmarks of the CPU, memory but at what point were they taken?
When I say adjust settings, that will be in the games video output settings.
If you dont know how to do this, Google your games settings and learn how to adjust them. There are tons of game users showing their game setups.
The bottom line is, your hardware cannot be changed, you can only change the video settings in the Games themselves and you will have to play with those yourself to find the best performance without lag.
Good luck.
