I do not have the DTS X Ultra app in my hp victus although it DTSX ultra certified

Your HP Victus being DTS:X Ultra certified means the hardware supports it, but the DTS:X Ultra app isn’t always pre‑installed. 

Instead, it’s delivered through the Microsoft Store or bundled in the HP Audio driver package. 

 

If the app is missing, here’s how you can restore it:

Check HP Support Drivers

  • Visit the HP support website and enter your OMEN 16 model number.
  • Download and install the latest audio drivers and OMEN Command Center updates provided specifically for your model.

Open Microsoft Store and search for DTS:X Ultra. If available, install directly.

Some Victus models integrate DTS:X Ultra inside HP Audio Control.

Search Windows for HP Audio Control and check the audio enhancements tab.
