Since a week I have noticed the left speaker has been causing issues. I bought this laptop two weeks ago on amazon.
Randomly the left speaker kind of 'turns off'. It doesn't entirely go off but becomes super inaudible. I tried reinstalling the drivers, restarting the laptop, disabling/enabling the device, tried using the troubleshooting option but the issue stays there. At this point, it isn't even fixing anymore. It is very low but isn't dead per say. I need help cause I cant enjoy games anymore as the audio is very one sided.
The issue is also variable. Sometimes the audio is fine while at other times it is either largely focused to one side (as stated above) or is equal on both BUT really low even at 100% volume setting.
Please assist me with a fix. Thank you.

Please do a clean install Audio software/driver, this should help.
(a) Download the following driver and save on your computer,
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp101001-101500/sp101015.exe
(b) Go to Device Manager, Sound to uninstall sound driver (Realtek) and reboot,
(c) Right click downloaded file and select Run as administrator,
(d) Reboot again.
Regards.
