Hi @suryayurveda,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I know how concerning it is when your HP Victus laptop suddenly stops charging and shows a blinking red charging light. This usually indicates a critical battery issue, and I’ll guide you through the most effective steps to troubleshoot it.

1. Hard Reset the Laptop

  • Unplug the charger.
  • Press and hold the power button for 15–20 seconds.
  • Plug the charger back in and try powering on.

2. Check the Charger and Port

  • Use a different HP-compatible charger if available.
  • Inspect the charging port for dust or damage.
  • Try a different wall outlet.

3. Battery Health Check

If it powers on briefly:

4. BIOS Reset (if accessible)

  • Turn off the laptop.
  • Press and hold Windows + B, then press the power button for 2–3 seconds.
  • Release all keys and wait. This may trigger a BIOS recovery/reset.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
